Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. In this role, you'll play a vital part in nurturing the communication and language development of school-age children. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary educational environment, you'll contribute your expertise while building strong relationships with educators, families, and fellow therapists.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific student needs. Lead engaging therapy sessions targeting communication, speech, and language enhancement. Carefully document student progress, adjusting approaches as goals are achieved. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and specialized staff to ensure a holistic approach to student care. Provide ongoing support and education to families, empowering them to engage in the therapy journey.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology earned from an accredited institution. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered. Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Demonstrated capacity for independent work as well as team collaboration.
