Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students near Winamac, IN, as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school-based setting. This rewarding opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise to empower students and foster communication skills essential for their success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Indiana Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered Previous experience in a school environment strongly desired Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Familiarity with IEP processes and special education requirements
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to address each child's needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (as applicable) Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams for student planning Offer consultation and education to teachers and families regarding speech and language development Experience the fulfillment of supporting students as a valued member of the school's therapy staff.
