Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity spans from August 11, 2026, to May 26, 2027, offering full-time hours and the chance to work across two schools in the Basehor, KS area. What You'll Bring:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Kansas (KS) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply Experience in educational or pediatric settings, particularly with elementary-aged children, is an asset Strong organizational abilities for managing assessments, therapy, documentation, and scheduling across multiple locations Ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and students, fostering a positive learning environment
Your Role:
Provide speech-language therapy and conduct comprehensive evaluations for an elementary-aged caseload of approximately 65 students Split time between two school sites, independently designing and managing your weekly schedule Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals Collaborate with educators and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
