Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language therapy within a dynamic school setting. Seeking two dedicated clinicians to provide onsite support and expertise to elementary-aged students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to serve a diverse caseload, foster communication skills, and collaborate with educational professionals in a welcoming and solution-focused environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Kansas SLP licensure required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered Experience or strong interest in working with elementary children Commitment to providing both direct therapy and comprehensive evaluations Ability to effectively split time between multiple school locations and organize own schedule Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities Enthusiasm for evidence-based school practice
Responsibilities Include:
Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to students in the elementary age range Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations as needed Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families Travel between two school sites, managing and planning your workload independently Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district standards Collaborate with teaching staff, support teams, and families to optimize student outcomes Advocate for communication needs and assist in IEP processes Inspire growth through your clinical expertise while enjoying the autonomy to shape your daily schedule and strategies.
