Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Junction City. In this role, you'll provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy that helps residents safely communicate, eat, and live with greater independence and dignity. Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional communication and safe swallowing Provide therapy to improve speech intelligibility, cognitive functioning, and swallowing safety Utilize alternative or augmentative communication methods as appropriate Modify diet textures and implement oral motor exercises to improve swallowing outcomes Set shortterm and longterm goals aligned with physician orders and resident needs Educate residents and families to support carryover and functional independence Advocate for residents' rehabilitation needs and participate in quality assurance initiatives Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress accurately per regulatory standards Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and physician teams to ensure coordinated care To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
