Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in Lansing, KS offers the opportunity to work within a supportive school environment. The role involves providing essential speech and language services to students, helping them develop effective communication skills that foster academic success and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Experience working in educational settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining a caseload of students Commitment to encouraging student achievement and well-being through therapy
