Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students and making a meaningful impact in their communication and academic journeys. Two full-time opportunities are open for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for working in school settings, committed to providing high-quality therapy and evaluations.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLP license in Kansas CCC-SLP preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered Experience or genuine interest in working with elementary-aged children Skilled in conducting speech-language therapy and comprehensive evaluations Proven ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Flexible, self-motivated approach—able to plan your own schedule across two school sites Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to best practices in school-based speech therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to a caseload of approximately 65 elementary students Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations, documenting results clearly Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Maintain communication and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents Split time between two school locations (schedule planning is self-directed) Stay up to date with best practices and district policies Document services and progress toward individual goals
