Speech Language Pathologist in Lawrence, KS ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Lawrence, KS Job Details Full-time | Contract 16 hours ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding contract opportunity is available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists seeking experience in an elementary school setting near Lawrence, KS. This role involves working with younger students, supporting their growth and success through both therapy and evaluations, and collaborating with school professionals. Two on-site positions are open for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering autonomy in scheduling across two elementary locations.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Kansas Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply Previous experience in a school-based setting and with elementary age students is highly valued Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 65 students Adaptability and enthusiasm for planning your daily and weekly schedule across assigned sites
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students with diverse needs Conduct timely and comprehensive speech/language evaluations Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with colleagues and families Maintain accurate and organized documentation Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other professionals to support student progress Participate in meetings as required
