Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, making a difference in the lives of elementary-aged students. As part of a collaborative educational setting, you'll provide critical support, engage with students across two schools, and have the flexibility to design your daily schedule. This is a full-time, contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year, working onsite and supporting a caseload of approximately 65 students. Qualifications & Desired Experience Hold a valid Kansas SLP license (SLP-CCC preferred; open to strong Clinical Fellows) Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in school settings Skilled in delivering both therapy and conducting comprehensive evaluations Strong organizational skills; able to manage and prioritize a split caseload across two schools Excellent interpersonal abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and school staff Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group speech-language therapy for elementary students Perform thorough speech and language assessments and create tailored intervention plans Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare required documentation Coordinate scheduling to effectively serve students at two separate school sites Consult regularly with teachers, support professionals, and families regarding student needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Benefits & Perks Full-time, stable schedule during the school year with summers off Autonomy to plan your own daily work across school sites Gain valuable experience in a supportive educational environment Opportunity to work onsite directly with students and staff Onboarding support and ongoing professional development Contribute to student success and professional growth in a dynamic educational setting.
