Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs in a dynamic educational setting. This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for making a difference in school environments and offers the chance to work closely with children primarily in grades 3 through 5, with some support needed for 9th grade. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license for the state of Kansas Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) School-based SLP experience is highly valued Familiarity with a variety of communication disorders Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Role Highlights:
Provide direct therapy services for students ages 3 to 5th grade, with some caseload to include 9th grade Participate in evaluations, screenings, and IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to enhance student outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state standards Offer consultative support to instructional staff Caseload managed across 37.5 hours per week Commitment from August 14th to May 28th Imagine the impact you can create by helping young learners grow their communication skills throughout the academic year.
