Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from early childhood through ninth grade in a dynamic educational setting. Three positions are available, each offering 37.5 hours per week to make a lasting impact on young learners' communication abilities. This role spans the full academic year, running from August 14th through May 28th, and focuses mainly on ages 3 through 5th grade with some 9th-grade involvement. What you'll bring: Valid state licensure and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience providing speech therapy in a school environment Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams Comfort with both early childhood and upper elementary needs; experience with 9th-grade students considered a plus Your responsibilities will include: Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments Developing and delivering direct and consultative therapy services for students with diverse needs Creating and adjusting IEPs to support each student's unique goals Documenting progress, maintaining records, and participating in annual reviews Communicating regularly with families and teachers to promote student success Serving as an active member of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering student growth This contract position provides a robust experience working in supportive school environments, allowing you to develop as an SLP while positively impacting children at formative stages of learning.
