Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take the next step in your Speech-Language Pathology career by supporting K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity features multiple full-time openings for SLPs, SLP Clinical Fellows, and SLP Assistants who are passionate about making a positive impact in schools near the Kansas City area. Work alongside dedicated professionals to deliver speech and language services designed to help students succeed throughout the academic year, beginning August 2026 through May 2027. With a 37.5-hour week and the chance to support diverse age groups across 1-3 school campuses, you will gain valuable experience and make meaningful connections. Specific caseloads and assignment details will be shared upon interview as schedules for the next school year are finalized.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Current or pending state licensure as an SLP, SLP-CF, or
SLPA SLP-CCC
credential preferred (clinical fellows welcome to apply) Previous experience in a school setting or with school-aged children is a plus Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Commitment to on-site work for the duration of the contract Flexibility to support K-12 students with varying needs Key responsibilities include: Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to individuals and small groups Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports Participating in IEP meetings and supporting compliance requirements This is an excellent chance to advance your skills, work closely with experienced colleagues, and make a difference in the lives of students at varying educational levels.
