Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF). This position is ideal for professionals with experience in pediatric settings, especially those skilled in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Work within a highly supportive and collaborative school environment where your expertise will directly impact students' communication and academic success. What you'll bring: Valid and active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility as an SLP-CF Strong background working in schools, pediatrics, or teletherapy Competency with AAC devices and interventions Experience serving elementary school-aged children or a strong interest in doing so Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and collaboration skills Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required Strong organizational skills and adaptability, ready to respond quickly to student needs Your responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students, tailoring interventions to individual needs Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Provide AAC device assessment, training, and support for students and staff Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive student support Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions You'll enjoy a welcoming school culture dedicated to inclusivity and professional growth.
