Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful opportunity to support students' communication and learning needs during a key period of the academic year. This contract role offers the chance to provide speech-language services while covering two consecutive maternity leaves, ensuring students experience uninterrupted support from August through January.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure (or eligible) Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and students Excellent assessment, intervention, and communication skills
What You'll Do:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload in school settings Administer evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and track student progress according to required timelines Collaborate with classroom teachers and other educational professionals to support each student's communication goals and educational success Maintain timely and organized documentation in compliance with state and district policies Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding progress and strategies for continued support at home Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, providing insights that help tailor educational plans for student needs
