Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary-age students with speech-language needs for the 2026-2027 school year. Two onsite speech-language pathologists are needed to collaborate within a dynamic educational setting, supporting a combined caseload of approximately 65 students. Enjoy the flexibility to design your own schedule across two schools while making a lasting impact through direct therapy and evaluations.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Kansas SLP license (CF considered; SLPAs not accepted) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary-age students, a plus Strong clinical skills in assessment, evaluation, and delivering individualized therapy Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Organizational skills to manage a full caseload and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy and conduct evaluations for elementary students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate case notes and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines Manage scheduling efficiently, splitting time between two school sites as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective interventions This role offers contract stability for the entire academic year, from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with full-time hours (37.5 per week).
