Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic educational environment and make a meaningful difference serving elementary and select pre-k students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. From August 2026 through May 2027, you'll play a vital role supporting a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, delivering direct and group services designed to help young learners reach their full communicative potential. Your expertise in speech therapy and commitment to compassionate, individualized care will drive positive outcomes for students. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance programs and ensure students thrive. This on-site position offers a rewarding balance of clinical skill and educational impact in a welcoming school setting. What we're seeking: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required) Prior school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with elementary/pre-k In-depth understanding of IEP development, participation in meetings, and evaluation procedures Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes Ability to manage both group and individual student services Strong communication and organizational skills Availability to work on-site for the entire school year Key responsibilities: Deliver direct, evidence-based therapy sessions (1:1 and small groups) Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Maintain timely and accurate Medicaid billing records Write and update IEPs, and actively participate in meetings Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress Adapt therapy plans to accommodate diverse learning needs Track student outcomes and document progress consistently Experience a school year filled with growth and fulfillment as you support students' communication development.
