Job Description

Blooming Horizon provides ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in our Center for Autism in North Brunswick. We are looking for Speech and Language therapist. Our Staff is dedicated to the World of Autism! We strive everyday to help individuals succeed and achieve their goals. Blooming Horizons is dedicated to providing a highly trained staff from RBT's to Clinical Director's that understands the individual need of everyone with Autism. Some basic License Speech Pathologist responsibilities and duties include: Plan, prepare, or carry out individually designed programs of treatment to maintain, improve, or restore each child's highest level of functioning. Perform and document an initial evaluation, as well as ongoing treatment, response, and progress in each patient's chart. Communicate closely with each patient's family in regards to treatment plans, for carryover at home to continue progress. Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit for progress. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for improved patient outcomes.
Qualifications and skills:
Kansas Licensure/eligibility to practice Speech Therapy Master's degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from an accredited school One-year experience with the pediatric population preferred. May be substituted with clinical education experience. Pass a drug screen and background check per agency procedure. Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Compensation:
Starting wages and benefits are based on experience Compensation is based on hours worked, not units billed or productivity. You will be compensated for collaboration and documentation time
