SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Speech Language Pathologist- AVA Center The ideal candidate would possess skills in using audiometer, formal tests, tape recorders, feeding and sensory strategies. Experience with special needs individuals is preferred. Skills in patient related software programs necessary and basic computer skills required.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

Kentucky state license is required and BLS training is required after hire. ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence is preferred for this position. Assesses and treats patients from infant through geriatric with a variety of speech, language and/or oral pharyngeal sensory - motor in-competencies according to standards of practice of profession, regulatory agencies, and institution. Assists in managing daily operation of speech - language pathology services. Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure maximum level of care to patients.
