Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting students' communication and learning by providing skilled Speech-Language Pathology services for the fall semester. This contract opportunity offers the flexibility to work either onsite or virtually, serving both high school and elementary school students as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will help ensure students continue to make progress while covering for a leave, making a meaningful difference from October 16th through the holiday break.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working in school settings, ideally with both high school and elementary students Ability to deliver effective therapy services in-person or through virtual platforms Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and administrators

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to diverse student needs Provide therapeutic interventions in either onsite or remote formats, adapting techniques and materials as appropriate for different ages and developmental levels Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Monitor student growth, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Manage a dynamic caseload spanning elementary and high school students Take on an engaging contract role where your skills will empower student success during a crucial period in the academic year.
