Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting students throughout the academic year in a vibrant Louisiana school community. This onsite contract position provides the rewarding opportunity to work closely with students, faculty, and families to improve communication skills and foster developmental success.
Key Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Active Louisiana SLP license and Louisiana Teaching Certificate Experience providing speech and language services in school settings strongly preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills Commitment to supporting diverse learners and engaging with education teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct assessment and therapy services to students onsite Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and parents Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations Progress monitor student development and maintain detailed documentation Consult with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to promote student success Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
