Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

We are seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a school-based position for the upcoming school year (August 3 - May 21). This role is based in Louisiana and requires an active Louisiana SLP license, with

ASHA CCC

strongly preferred/required to eliminate the need for supervision. This is a single-school placement serving an elementary campus. Caseload will include students in 1st through 6th grade, with the most likely assignments falling within 3rd-4th grade or 5th-6th grade groupings. The role is focused on supporting a typical school-based mix of speech and language needs within an academic setting. Schedule & Structure Full-time, 35 hours per week School hours approximately 7:45 AM - 3:30 PM One school site only (no travel between campuses) Requirements Active Louisiana SLP license
