Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a specialized high school program in Ludlow, MA focused on students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This contract role runs from late August 2026 through June 2027, offering 32.5 hours per week in a unique educational setting designed to build skills for independence beyond traditional classrooms.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to high school students within the Compass High Program Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support treatment plans Collaborate with educators and support staff to create personalized communication goals Implement individualized therapeutic interventions for students with ASD and various learning challenges Document progress and participate in team meetings to support student success
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with certifications as required by state regulations Experience in school settings, particularly with high school students and specialized programs Ability to supervise SLPAs effectively Strong understanding of therapeutic strategies for Autism Spectrum Disorders and related learning differences Excellent communication and teamwork skills
