Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY Previous experience working with children in educational settings preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Effective time management and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of needs Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students eligibility for services Develop, document, and update individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports in accordance with school district and legal requirements Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as an integral member of the student support team Provide consultation and support to staff regarding language and communication strategies in the classroom This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference while gaining valuable experience in an educational environment.
