Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Looking to make a positive impact this summer? A highly rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support an Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 20th through August 13th, 2026. This short-term contract position runs Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, totaling 14 hours per week, offering a great work-life balance for professionals seeking a meaningful, focused assignment. Ideal candidates are committed to empowering students and fostering communication growth. You'll be working alongside other dedicated staff, playing a key role in students' summer learning and development.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP license (CCC certification required) Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with ESY or elementary/secondary students Strong knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs), speech and language assessments, and IEP documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for ESY students Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure carryover of skills Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates for IEP meetings Create an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student participation and growth
