Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students during their extended school year program. This opportunity focuses on providing speech-language services in a school-based setting, making a direct impact during the ESY session from July 6th to August 6th. Workdays are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing for a consistent mid-morning schedule and afternoons free for other pursuits.
Key Qualifications:
Current license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Previous experience working in a school environment, particularly with the school-aged population Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with education teams Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted speech and language interventions to students as outlined in their IEPs Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with educators and parents to support student learning and communication goals Maintain accurate records and session notes in accordance with school and professional standards This contract position offers school professionals the chance to work intensively with students over the summer term, gaining valuable ESY experience while maintaining work-life balance through a compact schedule.
