Job Description

Step into a dynamic, supportive high school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential coverage during a mid-October to early January leave period. You'll have the opportunity to contribute primarily to a language-based program, making a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal success. This contract position features daytime hours—work from 7:25am to 2:20pm—allowing for a balanced schedule and fulfilling workday.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state SLP licensure and ASHA CCCs (or CFY considered) Prior experience working in high school or school-based settings Strong foundation in supporting language-based learning needs Commitment to fostering inclusion and communication growth in adolescents Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services within the language-based program to high school students Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Conduct student assessments, progress monitoring, and maintain accurate records in alignment with IEP goals Offer consultation and support to staff, contributing to a positive, collaborative educational team Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse needs and learning styles Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
