TITLE OF POSITION
Speech/Language Pathologist
LOCATION
Nauset Integrated Preschool
DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT
OF
POSITION
Provide speech and language services to preschool school students with a variety of communication disabilities Conduct evaluation of students Establish goals and write IEPs for students Attend IEP meetings Provide direct speech therapy and consultative services Consult with teachers, parents, caregivers and medical providers Maintain records Report progress Attend and participate at Section 504 Meetings Inventory management, equipment maintenance, data collection Adherence to the Code of Ethics of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Knowledge and skills in the areas of: articulation/phonology, fluency, voice/resonance, receptive and expressive language, literacy, social aspects (pragmatics), cognitive aspects, multiculturalism, augmentative/alternative communication, behavior, hearing, swallowing as they pertain to students in the public schools. Familiarity with IDEA and SPED laws and regulations. Continuing education as per license requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Massachusetts Certified Speech and Language Pathologist Master's Degree
SALARY:
$58,420.00 - $120,304.00
