This position will provide skilled SLP services on the inpatient behavioral health units at the Somerville Hospital Campus (specifically the Neurodevelopmental Unit - NDU), inpatient medical surgical floors, ICUs, and inpatient/outpatient swallow imaging at the Cambridge and Everett Hospital Campuses.
Job Purpose:
The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan who have complex medical needs, behavioral health crises, and/or neurodevelopmental disorders in an inpatient setting, including objective swallow imaging for inpatients and outpatients. Additionally, you will participate in performance improvement initiatives, in-services, documentation/administrative duties, and other departmental activities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
MA SLP licensure, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and current AHA BLS certification required. Prior neurodevelopmental experience is preferred. Training and experience with objective swallow imaging (Modified Barium Swallow Studies/Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies) are preferred. This position may require working at multiple locations and hospital campuses based on service needs.

Qualifications/Requirements:
MA licensure, CCC, and current AHA BLS certification required. One year of experience preferred. MBSS training/experience is a plus.
