Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time SLP-CCC supporting an autism program near Cambridge, MA. This assignment covers a maternity leave period from May 11 through June 18, providing specialized speech-language therapy services for 30-40 students. You'll make a meaningful difference for students with autism by fostering communication growth and supporting their educational journey.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Current state licensure to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with autism spectrum disorder Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for student success Strong documentation and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student requirements Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities Communicate student progress and therapy goals with families and educational staff Maintain comprehensive records and participate in IEP meetings as required Imagine impacting the lives of students in a supportive educational environment while expanding your professional experience.
