Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students with your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2025/26 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers a chance to work close to Cambridge, MA, making a significant difference for K-12 learners across diverse backgrounds. Here, your communicative skills will play a pivotal role in fostering student success, with a particular focus on those who benefit from support in Spanish or English, as well as Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese.
Key Qualifications:
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology Experience in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred Monolingual and bilingual professionals welcome, with Spanish/English skills in high demand Additional preferred languages: Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese Strong communication, collaborative, and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students, following IEPs and best clinical practices Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough records Work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' educational and therapeutic needs Provide screenings, therapy, and consultative support within the school community Advocate for students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
