9673520-01226 Job Description Step into a rewarding school-based role supporting students communication and language needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). A contract opportunity is available covering a maternity leave from December through March. Key Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as an SLP (with Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred) or SLPA Experience in a school-based environment, working with children and adolescents Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant documentation Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers Ability to organize and manage a caseload efficiently during the MAT leave coverage period
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals Deliver direct and consultative speech services to students, ensuring compliance with IEP goals Maintain accurate records and report on student progress for multidisciplinary team meetings Consult and collaborate with teachers and staff to deliver effective classroom-based interventions Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and progress updates as needed This contract role offers an engaging environment where your expertise will help foster student success.
