Speech-Language Pathologist Reports To:
ESY Coordinator Danvers Public Schools is seeking an Extended School Year - Speech-Language Pathologist for the ESY program. This is a non-benefited, part-time seasonal position for the 2026 summer. This is a Monday-through-Thursday program, running from July 6, 2026, to August 6, 2026Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team during the Extended School Year Program (ESY) for students with disabilities. The SLP will treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement speech therapy interventions tailored to the specific needs of each student. Provide direct one-on-one and small group therapy sessions to students with speech and language disorders, focusing on improving articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and social communication and pragmatic language skills. Collaborate with special education staff to ensure that speech and language goals are integrated into the students' academic programs. Document and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork in compliance with school and state regulations. Ensure adherence to confidentiality guidelines and ethical standards established by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and other relevant professional organizations.Additional Information:
