This contract position seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to work with K-12 students, making a real impact in their academic and personal growth. Key Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not required Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload and adapting to various student needs
Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to identify speech, communication, and language disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy programs Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions in both group and one-on-one settings Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote best outcomes for each child Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
