Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (or eligibility) Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred Thorough understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet a variety of learning needs Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students across kindergarten through twelfth grade Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings Develop, implement, and document Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student progress Provide both individual and group therapy sessions as needed Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based teams as an SLP expert Offer resources and support to teachers for effective integration of communication strategies in classrooms Connect your passion for speech-language pathology with meaningful school-based service in a supportive educational environment.
