Job Description

ESY 2026
Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) Preschool (1 Position) Qualifications (Required): Valid License as a Speech and Language Pathologist Successful teaching experience. Experience implementing direct speech services, including articulation, receptive and expressive language needs, and social communication. Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators. Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info. Qualifications (Preferred): Experience working in the Malden Public Schools. SEI Endorsement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and implement ESY Curriculum for students on IEP's. Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records. Keep folders/portfolios with student work. Perform other related activities as required by the Program Coordinator. Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program.
Duration:
Program Administration and Implementation 83 hours total to include the following: Professional In-service Days (Date TBD 3 hours). 20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 6- August 6 (8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.).
Stipend:
$40 an hour, $3,320 total (20 days/4 hrs + 1 inservice at 3 hours)
