Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an engaging contract opportunity serving students in the K-12 age range near Marblehead, MA. This summer assignment is designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about making a meaningful impact during a focused session from July 12th through August 13th. You'll work a manageable, part-time schedule of 16 hours per week across four days, providing your expertise in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications & Credentials:
Current Massachusetts SLP licensure. DESE Licensure required. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Prior experience in a school-based setting serving K-12 students preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across all grade levels (K-12). Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' communication goals. Conduct assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and maintain comprehensive documentation. Provide consultation, intervention, and support within the school community. Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans according to student needs. This contract role offers highly competitive compensation ranging from $50-$55 per hour, reflecting your credentials and experience.
