Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in New Bedford, MA. This position offers a diverse caseload, providing the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development across various grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology DESE-required teaching certification Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based interventions Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language abilities Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Delivering therapy services tailored to the unique needs of each student Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Participating in team meetings and collaborating with teachers and support staff to support student progress Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and involve them in the therapy process This full-time contract role offers the chance to work within a dynamic K-12 educational environment in New Bedford, MA, contributing to student success and growth.
