Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary-aged students Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for a range of communication disorders Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and parents Compassionate, student-centered attitude and a commitment to fostering growth and confidence in children

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary school students, both individually and in small groups Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student's unique abilities Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student success Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, progress monitoring, and required reporting Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
