JOB GOAL
To work with individual students and specialized groups with direct service on IEPs, as well as provide response to intervention when appropriate. Consultation with general education staff and participation in TEAM meetings will be required. This position will be responsible for completing all Speech and Language testing at the building level.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Works with students, 9-12 and supports in instructional and non-instructional settings. 2.Completes any and all Speech and Language related testing related to the eligibility process under IDEA and Massachusetts State Regulations governing Students with Disabilities, shares information with TEAM, and supports implementation of recommendations to the greater staff.3. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about the student as is expected of a fully licensed teacher/professional.4. Perform related duties as directed by the Principal, Director of Special Education.
