Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Support students in achieving their communication goals by providing speech-language services in a welcoming educational environment near Somerville, MA. This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate speech-language pathologists committed to fostering growth and success in K-12 students.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an
SLP ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply Experience with school-aged children is an advantage Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as needed Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that address individualized education program (IEP) goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to best support each student's needs Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and services provided Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities Provide direct therapy to students, both individually and in group settings, using engaging and age-appropriate activities Support generalization of communication skills within the classroom and school environment Experience the fulfillment of helping students reach their full communicative potential while working within a dynamic educational team.
