9683962-02180 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners and making a real impact in local schools. We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide coverage for a medical leave, working with elementary students in grades Kindergarten through 4th. This is a contract role, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of November. Youll work a standard Monday through Friday schedule, 35 hours per week, managing a caseload of approximately 50 students. In this role, youll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to offer comprehensive speech and language services tailored to each students needs. This is an excellent chance to contribute to student growth in a supportive educational environment. The position offers $60 per hour as part of the compensation package.
Qualifications and Credentials:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid SLP credential and eligibility for state licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted Previous experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting strongly preferred Skilled in evaluating, planning, and implementing IEPs for diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions for K4th grade students Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments to determine student speech and language needs Collaborate with educators and caregivers to ensure continuity of student care Maintain accurate records and document student progress
