Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology expertise in a supportive school setting for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This position is located near Taunton, MA, and is ideal for professionals dedicated to making a meaningful difference in students' communication skills during summer learning. The ESY assignment runs from July 6th through August 6th, offering a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule, 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM—perfect for those seeking impactful work with afternoons and weekends free.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure for SLP in Massachusetts Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required Previous experience as a school-based SLP preferred Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in the summer ESY program Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP goals Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in group and individual settings Document progress, maintain records, and participate in meetings as needed Consult with educators and families to optimize student learning outcomes
