Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, utilizing standardized assessments and clinical observations. Develop individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, including early intervention strategies for children. Implement therapy sessions across various settings, including clinics, schools, telehealth platforms, and community environments. Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment approaches and optimal patient outcomes. Skills Extensive experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention programs and school-based settings. Proven expertise in speech therapy and language therapy techniques for individuals with speech impairments or communication disorders. Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions. Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and interpret results accurately for effective treatment planning. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient record management. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology practices within healthcare environments. Experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including geriatric patients requiring communication support.
