COMPENSATION
Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website. All internal applicants who are interested in this position should apply within ten days of this posting. All applicants must be fingerprinted prior to hiring. Additional information regarding fingerprinting including scheduling an appointment may be found on our website. A CORI application must be completed with our Central Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Conducts speech and language evaluation in the area of need. Provides specific speech and social pragmatic skill development as determined by the Team. Participates in the Team process and collaborates in the IEP process. Consults with classroom teachers to ensure student's IEPs and accommodations are being implemented. Consults with teachers to assist with appropriate interventions based on student's needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Speech Language Pathologist licensing by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and Massachusetts State Certification and Licensing Bureau. Master's degree from an accredited institution. Has experience working with students in a school setting. Citizenship, residency or work visa required
