Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Providing speech and language support to students across kindergarten through 12th grade in a Maryland school setting, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student achievement and communication skills. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will work directly with students, collaborating closely with educators and families to develop individualized plans that address each student's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students Partner with teachers, families, and IEP teams to support student progress Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification or eligibility to obtain Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
