Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Maryland License Join our team at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab, a leading provider of post-acute care in Cumberland, MD! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals at our skilled nursing rehabilitation center. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in our mission to Serving with Pride and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose patients with communication and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' speech, language, and cognitive-communication impairments Provide therapy services to patients in various settings, including skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and acute care hospitals Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and excellent patient outcomes Document patients' progress and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and evidence-based treatments in speech-language pathology
