Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a real difference in students' lives while advancing your career as a contract speech-language pathologist in a vibrant K-12 school setting. This opportunity is based at an onsite location within a supportive and collaborative district, where you'll work closely with educators and families to help students achieve communication milestones.
Key Qualifications:
Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist-CCC certification Current Maryland SLP license required Experience in Maryland schools strongly preferred Ability to manage diverse K-12 caseloads Commitment to onsite service delivery (remote not available) Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and consultative services to K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Monitor and document students' progress and adjust interventions as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service professionals Offer guidance and support to families regarding speech and language development Ensure compliance with state and district policies and reporting requirements Serve as an active participant in multidisciplinary team meetings
