Key Qualifications:
Active Maryland SLP licensure required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience working in Maryland schools preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a varied K-12 caseload with professionalism and empathy
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals Conduct assessments and maintain thorough records to monitor progress and compliance Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as an advocate for student progress Deliver evidence-based interventions while fostering a positive, inclusive school environment
