Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact supporting K-12 students as a contract speech-language pathologist in a close-knit and encouraging school district setting. This onsite position offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful speech and language services throughout the academic year, engaging directly with students and collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid Maryland SLP license (required before starting) Previous experience working in Maryland schools preferred Strong communication and organizational abilities Comfortable working with K-12 populations and supporting diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students in individual and group settings Conduct assessments, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students' communication goals Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and required reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture centered on helping every student succeed
