Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an opportunity to impact students across multiple school sites in the Ellicott City, MD area by providing critical speech-language pathology services. This contract role spans the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 10th and finishing June 9th, with a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will support a diverse population of learners as you work directly onsite within a supportive school community.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Maryland SLP License (MD SLP) CCC-SLP certification or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed Experience in school-based settings highly valued Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to work onsite at multiple locations (please be prepared to provide your ZIP code for placement consideration)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, per IEP requirements Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning Develop individualized treatment plans to address communication needs Document progress and provide ongoing reports for IEP meetings Consult with teachers, staff, and families to foster an inclusive and communicative school environment Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations You'll thrive in this engaging setting where each day brings opportunities to shape student success and collaborate with dedicated educational professionals.
